Progression and Development
ECORYS UK employees have excellent opportunities for progression and development. ECORYS UK has an in-depth training offer, with many courses led by our internal experts, covering a wide range of skills from presentation skills to consultative selling skills and proposal writing to contract management.
The company also has a detailed appraisal process with the progression and development of each employee reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Employee Owned Company
ECORYS UK is on the path towards being a majority employee-owned company. We believe this is the most appropriate ownership structure for a company like ours. There are 2 ways of becoming a shareholder:
The standard trading round for cash, long and short term loans, selling and exercising option The Share Incentive Plan (or SIP) – a government approved, tax efficient way of investing in your company which adheres to a strict timetable from HM Revenue & Customs and this year is at a slightly later time.

ECORYS UK considers itself to be a flexible organisation and will consider all requests
for flexible working arrangements.
Rewards Policy
ECORYS UK’s review process provides a procedure for promotion or special salary awards to reflect new skills, improved effectiveness and extra responsibilities where these are seen as significant in developing an employee's contribution to the company.
Employee Works Council
The ECORYS UK Works Council are a group of elected employee representatives who provide an interface between management and employees. They represent employees in discussions with management regarding proposed changes to company policy and operational issues and raise issues with management on behalf of employees.
Pension
ECORYS UK has a generous Group Personal Pension Plan with Aviva.
All senior employees are invited to join the pension scheme with a Company contribution equivalent to 5% of salary subject to a personal contribution of 2%.
For all other employees, the company will make an employer’s contribution equivalent to 20% of any contribution made by the employee during their first two years of employment. After two years service, the current Company contribution is equivalent to 5% of salary subject to a personal contribution of 2%.
Life Assurance
All employees who are members of the company’s pension scheme are automatically entitled to a death in service payment of four times of their annual salary made payable to their nominated person.
Healthcare
All employees can opt to join the healthcare scheme operated by Birmingham Hospital Saturday Fund which can help manage the cost of dental treatment, eye tests, new glasses and contact lenses, professional therapy treatments, health consultations and much more.
All employees at senior levels will be offered Private Medical Insurance as part of their package with AXA PPP. All other employees can request membership after two years service.
Childcare vouchers
ECORYS UK provides employees with the opportunity to join a childcare voucher scheme run by KiddiVouchers. This is a tax efficient scheme to support employees with childcare.
Holiday
ECORYS UK’s annual leave entitlement is above the statutory minimum and all employees are provided with 25 days plus 8 bank holidays, rising by 1 day per year after two years service up to a maximum of 30 days.
Company sick pay
The company’s sick pay policy allows employees to receive 20 days at full pay for
the first 20 days of sickness in a rolling year.
Employee Assistance Programme
ECORYS UK provides a free online and telephone support counselling programme, which
is available to all employees and members of their household. This is provided through
the Positive People Company.
Enhanced maternity provisions
ECORYS UK’s maternity policy provides enhanced maternity pay for all employees with
two years service at the 15th week before the baby is due of 18 weeks at full pay
including SMP
Interest free loans for work related requirements
Interest free loans may be made available to all employees for work related requirements
such as travel to work, to purchase shares, etc.
